Art Statement | The Evolution of Style

In order to develop a signature approach to painting and photography, Conway-Hyde studied and practised various methods of creation. Up until 1985, he took a technical and figurative approach, studying life drawing and the use of watercolours. He then began an examination of art historical movements from 1985 through 1991. He developed an understanding of contrast and reflection through the use of abstraction in modern art as well as analyzing the conversations of noted Abstract Expressionists and Pop artists such as Jackson Pollock, Franz Kline, Willem de Kooning, Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons for their expressive and emotional styles.

Our Limited Editions, are hand-signed, limited edition works by Andrew Conway-Hyde. Open Editions are unlimited print runs of bestselling images and photography in smaller formats. Limited Edition prints are produced in up to three different sizes. Open Edition Art Prints are all available in one set format.

We produce each limited print with each order. We use our top of the range Epsom and Canon Lab Quality printers using the best light fast colour inks. We have selected the top brand papers from our partners to provide the very best quality image. 

Yes. You can choose between 1) an unmounted, unframed photo print, 2) the artist’s standard recommendation for mounting and/or framing your limited edition print, and 3) our floating frame for canvas fine art limited edition prints.

You can choose between our standard mounting and framing option. Depending on the artwork, we offer a floater frame option, solid wood frame, showcase frame, or photo mount frame in black or white. Our wood frames are made in our Loft Studio on the Isle of Wight.

All our prints are available mounted and framed. These are our A3, A2, A1 and A0 Limited Editions prints. We use high-quality museum mount from Hahnemühle, guaranteed to be acid and lignin free.

Yes, once you have completed your online order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

You can pay by credit card or PayPal (MasterCard, Visa, American Express). To pay with PayPal, simply log in to your PayPal account when prompted to do so, review your order, and approve the payment. Credit card payment is possible with MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.

For shipping within the United Kingdom, including specialty art packaging and insurance for your artwork, we apply shipping charges depending on your order. Most orders fall under our Free Shipping policy.

Delivery takes about 7 to 10 workdays. Shipping time can vary depending on the size, weight, and shipping company.

Our standard is to always ship your art safely in specialty packaging, delivered to the address of your choice.

In addition to the ordered goods, you will find a delivery slip and a guide with practical advice on caring for and hanging your picture.

We work exclusively with certified shipping partners. These vary depending on the size of the art you order and the country it is being delivered to. DHL, UPS, Hermes, DPD, FedEx, and GLS are among the companies we trust.

We deliver your order to the United Kingdom.

We send orders from our online Gallery directly to you at home. If you are a local of the Isle of Wight you can arrange to collect from the Gallery.

Yes. We send you a shipping confirmation including a tracking number that allows you to follow your order’s status all the way to your door.

If the art arrives damaged, please contact use (Mon-Fri, 10am-5pm). We will arrange to pick the piece up at no charge to you. For documentation purposes, we always need photographic evidence of the damage. After the return is processed, we immediately have a new one produced for you. We dispose of the damaged picture so that it does not affect the limited edition print run.

In your customer account, you can see all of your orders and follow their status. You can save your billing and delivery address there. You can even save multiple delivery addresses, and choose the one you want with a single click with each order. An account also makes it simple to manage your newsletter subscription.

As soon as we receive your order, we send you an order confirmation via e-mail. Normally, we deliver your order within 7 to 10 days of it being placed. When your order is shipped, we send you a shipping confirmation including a tracking number from our certified shipping partners and the receipt/invoice as a PDF for you to print out.

We ship worldwide. Please note that shipments to countries outside of the EU may be subject to additional customs fees or import taxes.

Should you cancel the sale contract, we are to refund all payments received from you, including shipping costs (with the exception of additional costs from selecting a different type of delivery than the standard, cost-effective shipping we offer) promptly – at the latest, within 30 days of our receipt of the statement indicating your cancellation. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method, unless otherwise expressly agreed upon. We can withhold the refund until such time as we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof of their return shipment, whichever comes first. You are to promptly send the goods back; at the very latest, this must be done within 30 days of the days you inform us of the cancellation. This deadline is met as long as the return shipment of goods is sent out within the allotted period. We cover the cost of return shipments made from within the United Kingdom. In all other countries, you will be responsible for the direct costs. The goods cannot be shipped through the regular postal service. You are only responsible for decreases in the value of goods if, after inspecting their condition, properties, and functionality, the decrease in value can be traced back to your improper handling of the goods.
