To get the best results and quality, everything is made within the studio. The photograph is printed on the very best Matte archival canvas and allowed to dry for 48 hours. The Matte Canvas Print is a beautiful traditional canvas finish with a non-reflective matte finish. Like all of our canvas and fine art prints it is printed on a specialist, 12 colour Giclee printer which ensures accurate detailed colour reproduction, deep blacks and light-fast inks that protect your canvas from fading. We us the very best materials, and would expect my images to look stunning for more than a hundred years, as they will not fade in our lifetimes. We then make the stretcher and tray frame that the finished canvas will go into. The frames are all hand painted for the best quality in studio. The image, sides and tray frame are then varnished with layers of durable Matte varnish for protection and uniformity. The images and the frame are then put together and the hanging wire added. The studio Certificate of Authenticity is attached. Andrew Conway-Hyde signs and numbers the image front and back.
Monochrome photography is photography where each position on an image can record and show a different amount of light, but not a different hue. It includes all forms of black-and-white photography, which produce images containing shades of neutral grey ranging from black to white.
